Folclor Hispano
Membership
As an active OSU student organization, a majority of Folclor Hispano's members consist of students, staff, and faculty of The Ohio State University. Folclor Hispano also invites and welcomes members from the Columbus community to become members in the group. New dance members are encouraged to join us beginning autumn term (end of August) and commit to the practices on a regular basis through May, as well as to perform in our annual spring presentation which is held in Columbus on the Ohio State University campus. Membership is open to teens and adults. Those under 18 should be accompanied by an adult. Membership is covered by the Student Activity Fee, however for non-students, there is no membership fee. Almost all costumes are provided as well as practice skirts for the women, but members are responsible for having their own appropriate dance shoes (i.e. character or folclor shoes). ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
